Why Is My Car Leaking Fluid? Causes and Fixes for Redding Drivers
Find and Fix the Leak Before It Gets Expensive
A small leak is the cheapest version of the problem you'll ever have. We find exactly where the fluid is coming from and fix the source.

Why is my car leaking fluid? Usually a worn gasket, seal, or hose. The color tells you which system: clear water is normal A/C condensation, green or orange is coolant, brown or black is engine oil, red is transmission or power steering fluid, and slick yellowish fluid near a wheel is brake fluid.
Spots under your car are worth a closer look. Put a piece of white cardboard under the car overnight and check the color in the morning. That, and where the puddle sits, tells us where to start.

Is clear water under my car normal?
Usually yes. It's condensation from the air conditioning and is most noticeable on hot days.
Is a small oil leak a big deal?
Not right away, but leaks get worse, and oil dripping on hot exhaust parts is a fire risk. It's worth fixing early.
